RCAF weather manual

Formerly known as the Air Command Weather Manual, this RCAF Weather Manual is rebranded and updated.

The Royal Canadian Air Force Weather Manual is the official reference for meteorology for aircrew in the Canadian Forces and has been adopted by Transport Canada for civilian use. For many Canadian Forces meteorology courses, this companion Workbook can be used to reinforce concepts taught in a classroom setting. It has been produced to enable students to verify their comprehension of the matter contained with the Manual and encourages a greater degree of independent study. For those who have already completed courses in meteorology, the Royal Canadian Air Force Weather Manual Workbook will also help aviators remain current on the subject.
